"Pitt River Ferry for the Teamster whole team is on the Ferry boat. July 1882" "Harry Edward Schwatka on Ferry crossing Pit River. Schwatka born 1858 died 1944" Art Onn says this is likely the Lockhart Ferry now owned by Silverthorn family, relatives of Lockharts, who own Bay Br. Resort."
