Description
Dr. Dean Ornish discusses his book, “Dr. Dean Ornish’s Program for Reversing Heart Disease: The Only System Scientifically Proved to Reverse Heart Disease Without Drugs or Surgery.” He begins by explaining that making simple lifestyle changes can help protect people from heart disease. He talks about how diet, exercise, smoking, and stress can affect a person’s health. He describes why support groups are good for managing stress and can help change bad behaviors. He talks about a documentary that was done on the outcomes of his studies and followed his first few patients. He ends the interview by talking about recipes from famous chefs that he included in the book.
