Neuenburg 1895. - Bildlegende im Album: "Lehrer und Predigerseminar in Akropong. - Im oberen Stocke sind die Wohnungen der zwei europäischen Lehrer (Missionare) und im untern die Lehr- und Schlafzimmer der 57 Jünglinge, welche zu Lehrern und Katechisten herangebildet werden." Note translation: Cf. D-30.11.025 QD-32.008.8145. (PST). - Published as no 17 in the album 'Achtzig Ansichten von der Goldküste (Westafrika) nach Originalaufnahmen des Missionars Fritz Ramseyer' (= 'Eighty pictures of the Goldcoast (West Africa) by the missionary Fritz Ramseyer'), Neuenburg 1895. - Caption there: "Seminary for Pastors and Teachers in Akropong. The living quarters for two European teachers (missionaries) are on the upper floor. Below there are dormitories and classrooms for 57 young men who are being trained as teachers and catechists." - The French capion (in 'Quatre-Vingts Vues...' is somewhat more detailed: "One sees that this is a large building..." and goes on after giving the same information about the upper floor "...in the ground floor and in two adjacent wings are the school rooms for 57 young men...."
