Description
Photograph article dated May 20, 1964 reads, "Presidential Hopeful - New York Gov. Nelson Rockefeller yesterday told Valley State College (later California State University, Northridge) students that the greatest challenge facing the American people today is establishment of lasting peace throughout the world. Speaking at a noon rally, the governor hit hard at what he called the administration's "wishful thinking." Today, Rockefeller takes his campaign into San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange counties."
