Description
Peter Craig discusses his book, “Blood Father.” He begins by explaining that when he created the characters in the book he thought of them each having a fearful response to something. He discusses how the mother in the novel appears tough, but turns out to be one of the weakest and most fearful characters. Craig shares that he was hoping to create a father daughter love story because he has two daughters of his own and does not feel there is enough literature about the relationship between a father and a daughter. He goes on to explain that his favorite part of writing is to explore how far you can go in forgiving and redeeming someone. Later in the interview Craig reads aloud from his work and divulges that the book has just been bought to be turned into a film.
