West Los Angeles Regional Branch Library, 11360 Santa Monica Boulevard, a two-story building, was designed by architects Allison and Rible to be the regional library for West Los Angeles, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Venice, Westchester, Mar Vista, and Palms. It was built in 1956 at a cost of $255,000. This view is from the interior looking out at Santa Monica Boulevard, just prior to completion. A Safeway grocery store is opposite.
