Photograph of a view of the kitchen in the Los Angeles County Jail, "presumably tenth floor, Hall of Justice", ca.1940-1949. At center, ladels and pans hang above a narrow wooden table beneath which tins are stacked. To the left, a line of ovens and grills are pictured, while at right more tables and six large tubs are visible along with two sinks. The area in the foreground appears to be open. The prison was built in 1902.
