Description
Bruno Bettelheim discusses his book, “A Good Enough Parent.” He begins by explaining that the most important gift a parent can give his or her child is a sense of security and a positive sense of self. He talks about how parents can duplicate giving back to the community in a home environment. He says that he wishes teenagers could have more meaningful interactions with others and that contributing to society is important. He talks about the careers of his own children, and that one of them is in psychology. Bettelheim ends the interview by discussing reasons why teens turn to drug and alcohol use.
