Description
"This is the building we need help to finish renovating. Photo taken after wedding, March 26, 1959 -- Singapore." This is a photograph of the congregation of the Moulmein Road Church of Christ in Singapore. Ira Y. Rice Jr., an American missionary from a cappella Churches of Christ, started the church in 1955. Renovations, which this photo refers to, began on the building in April 1959 and by August was declared ready for use.
