Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph article dated February 13, 1965 partially reads, "Ellenshaw worked on the 'Mary Poppins' sets for two years....In spite of Disney contracts, Ellenshaw produces between 50-60 paintings a year--'mostly on Saturday and Sunday,' he says. 'It's a good change of pace from the movies. And I often feel more intent about turning out a painting when I know my time is somewhat limited.' Disney brought Ellenshaw to Hollywood from England in 1953 for '20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.' Ellenshaw and his family -- a wife and two children -- have lived in Southern California ever since."
