Photograph article dated June 4, 1948 partially reads, "The evening of June 10 will find some lucky Valley girl well on her way towards a full-fledged career as a model. On that date a Valleywide model contest for nonprofessionals will be conducted at 9 p.m. at the Studio City theater. Joint sponsors are station KWIK and the Lola Whitehead School for Models in co-operation with Universal-International Pictures and the Studio City theater."
