Photograph article dated April 24, 1954 partially reads, "Patrick Moran, 11 years a Valley resident, is today the proud possessor of a Western Water Rifle, a result of outstanding service to the San Fernando Valley Times and to his community. Moran, a Sun Valley Junior High School student has earned distinction in Valley Times subscription sales and special credit for bringing happenings throughout the world, nation and locality to an increasing number of his neighbors."
