Photograph caption dated May 17, 1963 reads, "Actress Marsha Hunt, Van Nuys, left, expresses her interest in the Valley Music Theater to Nick Mayo, director, and his wife, actress Janet Blair." The article partially reads, "At a tea to introduce prospective shareholders to the proposed $900,000 Valley Music Theater in Woodland Hills, Nick Mayo, president and director, and his partners, Sy Warner and Randolph Hale, answered the questions of an estimated 100 Valley women. Shares sell for $100 each in the theater, which is expected to attract pop concerts, pop and folk singers, symphony concerts, children's entertainment and other events 32 weeks of the year, top musical - dramatic presentations during the 20-week summer season."; See images #00117360 and #00122928 through #00122932 for all photos in this series.
