Pictured in circa 1962 is the Firehouse Restaurant at 1112 to 1114 Second St. The eatery was founded by brothers Carl, Larry and Newton Cope near the time this photograph was taken and set inside Sacramento’s oldest remaining volunteer fire station, that of Sacramento Engine Company Number 3.
