Broadway runs unpaved down the center of the image to the left, lined to either side by craftsman-style residences. Several other residences are visible in the foreground on the corner Broadway makes with 1st Street to the right of center, where there appears to be a sharp drop into a ditch of some sort. A large hill is visible in the background to the right.
