Shades of L.A. is an archive of photographs representing the contemporary and historic diversity of families in Los Angeles. Images were chosen from family albums and include daily life, social organizations, work, personal and holiday celebrations, and migration and immigration activities. Portrait of Horace T. Judson holding center stained glass medallion for the window "prayer" in the Faith of Our Fathers Chapel, Freedom Foundation in Valley Forge, PA. He made another just like it which is in the chapel of the U.S. Capitol, the House of Congress. The stained glass is of George Washington and was donated by the Judson Studios. The Judson Studios (est. 1897), makers of stained glass, is located at 200 South Avenue 66, in Highland Park.
