Description: A two-story residence for Benjamin F. Ball under construction, amid scaffolding, and piles of cut wood in Pasadena, California. A group of men is gathered in front, some sitting on large pumpkins.
Title partially transcribed from back of photo-mount. Date devised by cataloger. Title written on back refers to "John" Ball, but the home is more likely that of prominent Pasadena citizen Benjamin Franklin Ball. Printed along bottom of photo-mount: "The A & A Lightning Viewing Co. / A. H. Rogers, Photographer." Photo-mount is bordered with decorative graphic elements.
