Exterior view of the French style Chateau Elysee, a film colony landmark, recently purchased by a non-profit group for operation as the Manor Hotel, an experiment in graceful living by older people. Originally built as a luxury hotel/apartment house in 1929 by Eleanor Ince, the widow of Thomas H. Ince, the successful pioneer silent film producer.
