Description
Photograph of a "new river" in Brawley, ca.1910. In the foreground at center, a wide stream of water can be seen running along a flat, muddy bank. To the right of the stream, the ground is slightly elevated. In the background at left, a large cliff wall can be seen. To the right, additional water can be seen forming a pool. The water appears to be runoff of a flood.
