Description
Photos collected as part of a 2011 program about Alisal, a community once east of Salinas, now part of Salinas. Panel included: Joanne Adcock Schmidt, Bill Ramsey, Bonnie Wright Alvarado, Nell Marie (DeNoon) Gardner, and Virginia Rocca Barton. Other speakers included: Mayor Dennis Donohue and Mona Gudgel. Facilitators: Brian Kimura and Don Gardner. Special appearance by: Larry Hosford. From left to righ in phott: Don Wright, Bobby Wright; Marge (Margaret) Wright, and David Wright. A corner of Bonnie Wright can be seen in the car interior. Bobby Wright was a cousin of Bonnie, Don, Marge and David. The Wright family came to Salinas from Colorado.
