Title transcribed from envelope. Date devised by cataloger. . Verso of photograph reads: "Two of the wonderful 'villages' - native 'Venices' of Solomons proper. I, Charmian London was just about to go 'aboard' one of them (tho they are not floating islands) where I was stricken with Solomon Islands feber. We were in a dangerous cannibal place & everybody bristling. Read my Log of the Snark."
