Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Photograph caption reads: "More than 600 people came to bare all yesterday at Pirates Cove in support of nude beaches. An estimated 600 nude sunbathers, (more were expected later in the day) celebrated the third annual National Nude Beach Day at Pirates Cove, just south of Zuma Beach off of Westward Drive. The small cove is private property, and as a result, the county sheriff's department could only watch from nearby cliffs. RECO Land Corporation are the owners of the land. The bathers set up displays, discussing their beliefs, most of which were discrimination". Photograph dated: Aug. 6, 1978.
