Photograph of sulphur being unloaded from the Panama Kobenhaun in Los Angeles Harbor, March 16, 1931. The deck of a large ship can be seen at center, and a cargo hatch in the middle is open. A large crane with a shovel attached is pulling light-colored sulphur out of the cargo hold as a worker looks on at left. The superstructure of the ship, including smokestacks and more cranes, can be seen in the background.
