Text written to right of photo: "Refugee Fire victims living in tents 1906." Photo shows a group of tents at the Hamilton Square refugee camp. A stove has been set up. Women and children can be seen walking among the tents. Hamilton Grammar School can be seen in the center background; the Girls' High School to the right.
