Description
This photograph, taken circa 1960, shows the Ebner Hotel, a rooming house located at 116 K St. that dated to 1856. The structure -- founded by Charles and Francis Ebner -- was considered a landmark to those traveling the Sacramento River and was a a spot frequented by John Sutter for its fine collection of alcohol. It was razed in 2003.
