Photograph caption dated June 29, 1984 reads, "Officials examine helicopter that went down into tailspin and crashed in Palos Verdes Estates churchyard, killing the pilot and passenger." The crash occurred on the grounds of the Neighborhood Church, located at 415 Paseo Del Mar.
