Description
Ampex F4470 magnetic audio recorder, manufactured in Sunnyvale, California, serial number 4011470-10. 117 volts AC, 1.4 amperes, 60 cycles. Input and output jacks at the back. The F4470, part of Ampex's F-44 Fine Line series, was sold as a complete stand-alone tape recorder with speakers and audio amplifiers, and was one of the last of the consumer Ampex products using vacuum tubes.
