Photograph of the aqueduct (Los Arcos) at Queretaro, Mexico, ca.1905-1910. Built 1726-1735, it was still in use in about 1910. A young man in a sombrero sits on a stone among many cacti in the foreground. Three other people, facing the camera, are visible further in the distance. Behind them is the aqueduct and behind it are cultivated fields and the mountains.
