Description
Clinton, Tenn.--This crowd, in front of Clinton High School, is shown waiting for Negro students to arrive this morning. But the Negroes entered a side door. The crowd was mostly students waiting for the first bell to ring. Later in the day, a fist fight broke out between a 16 yr. old student and a former white student, but were quickly taken to jail. The Negro students were then taken home by officers for their own protection.
