Description: U.S. Army cushion given away at San Jose Earthquakes vs. MetroStars match on June 12, 2004, at San Jose State's Spartan Stadium. "Yo soy el Army 1-800-USA-ARMY * goarmy.com" printed on cushion. Quakes beat the MetroStars 3-1 with 7 total yellow cards issued and with Quakes goals from Jeff Agoos 27', Brian Ching 79', and Brian Mullan 89'. Upon the third goal being scored, fans threw the seat cushions on the field en masse in celebration. Known as "Night of the Flying Seat Cushions."
