A barbershop with 3 barbers and 3 customers getting haircuts is shown. The L.A. Police Department American Legion post arranged for unemployed World War veterans to receive free haircuts and shines to enable them to put in a better appearance with applying for jobs. This photo shows the shop of Sam David on 117 S. Spring St. where the first group of 100 were being served.
