Description
View of the area before 125 houses were demolished for the building of the Estrada Courts Housing Project, which contained 214 dwelling units in 31 buildings for an estimated population of 750. Cost of the project was $942,031. It was ready for occupancy on July 1, 1942. The nearest major intersection to the project is East 8th Street and Lorena Street. Photo date: November 5, 1941.
