Image of the presentation of the draft of the Declaration of Independence to Congress (incorrectly labeled as the signing of the Declaration of Independence) inspired by the painting by John Trumbull in the United States Capitol; the Committee of Five (John Adams of Massachusetts, Roger Sherman of Connecticut, Robert Livingston of New York, Benjamin Franklin of Pennsylvania, and Thomas Jefferson of Virginia) present their draft at center while members of Congress sit along the edges of the room; flags and musical instruments on wall in background.
