Photograph caption dated September 29, 1964 reads "Mayor Sam Yorty, Mrs. Ray Lish, Martin Pollard and Mrs. Richard de Jorita watch William Ravenscroft snip the ribbon at formal dedication ceremonies of new Pollard-Ravenscroft Chevrolet facility in Van Nuys. More than 500 Valley business and civic leaders visited new showrooms at Van Nuys boulevard and Oxnard Street to inspect the full city block area and get a glimpse of the new 1965 Chevrolet car line."
