Description
Photograph of spherical object with attached arm on a wooden platform, ca.1910. At center, a large spherical object sitting on a crude wooden box can be seen. The exterior of the sphere is metallic, and the object separates into two distinct hemispheres. Small bolts line the wide rim of the sphere, and two metallic clamps are visible at the top of the rim. On the sphere's surface, a small cylindrical opening protrudes near the top, while a smaller cylindrical arm extends from the opposite side. On the far left side of the sphere, a large cylindrical arm extends from the sphere and connects to a frustum. The frustum connects to another cylindrical arm pointed at an angle. A small hole is seen at the top of the arm. Object believed to be a section of a telescope. An earlier record reads: "Unidentified engine part".
