Description
View of the after-effects of the Red Rock Cold Creek Canyon forest fire in the Santa Monica Mountains. Seen are the upper reaches of watershed of Las Flores Canyon on the south side of Saddle Peak. Note the water seeping from the earth after a rain. Seen from the head of Saddle Peak Road, off Topanga Canyon Road seven miles above Fernwood. February, 1937.
