Description
These two women are doing their bit for Uncle Sam on September 17, 1942. They are Mrs. Jane Shelby, in blue jeans, and Mrs. Wanda Beasley, at the wheel, a cook to a Denver socialite. They are two of the 109 women and girls employed at Lowery Field as drivers for equipment-hauling trucks.
