Shows Arcade Bldg on left (former site of U.S. Postoffice from 1853 to 1892), Grey's drugstore on the right (since 1910, original building erected in 1870). Walter Hepting was born in Sacramento (father was from Switzerland, mother from Germany). Worked for the State Treasurer's Office. Was amateur historian, collected old photographs and images of Sacramento. 1989-1421.
