Photographic portrait of the Los Angeles Police team, posing with rifles, 1890. Six moustached men stand in a row, full-on to the camera, with rifles in rest positions. Each man wears a darkly-colored, belted coat, darkly-colored pants and hat, boots, and a light-colored badge. This particular uniform was used from 1869-1894. The group stands on a wooden floor, in front of a plain background.
