Description
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Murphy ("Toots and Casper") were back in Los Angeles on July 24, 1931. Mrs. Murphy's foibles and fashions guide him in portraying Toots, heroine of his famous comic strip, which appears in The Evening Herald. Los Angeles is home to Murphy, as it was on The Los Angeles Herald that he started his career as a cartoonist.
