Description
Exterior view of the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the new United States Federal Building between Capitol Ave. and N Streets at 6th Street. This marked the initial construction of the redevelopment of Sacramento. View shows because of the 100 degree heat, people left their shovels after the ceremony and headed for the shade.
