Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the demolition of the County Hall of Records, April 1973. The County Hall of Records, an eleven-story building constructed in the Edwardian style of architecture, sits at the center of the image, its left side covered by scaffolding. Demolition appears to have begun on the upper right side of the building, as roof trusses and interior beams are visible. A crane sits in front of the building, its top extending out of the frame toward the upper right. A fenced area of trees and grass sits, above street level, in the foreground of the image. High-rise buildings are visible in the left and extreme right backgrounds.
