Both of them are dressed in lightly-colored clothing with long darkly-colored boots. The rider to the left is also holding a long wooden mallet. A long crowd extending from the left to the right of the image watches the two men. There are hardly any women in the picture except for a young girl standing to the right of the riders. All the men wear hats and formal attire such as jackets and ties. In the far background to the left and right, long tall trees frame the sky.
