Description: Corey’s Flower Shop at 2921 Y St. is shown on Nov. 2, 1938. Joseph A. Corey ran the cottage-style shop from 1937 to 1949. Prior to being a florist, the Sacramento native and first-generation Spanish-American was a carpenter and building contractor in the Sacramento area.
