Description
Photograph caption dated August 20, 1955 reads "Burbank police officers finish photographing body, left, background, of Eugene Martin Groves, 48, of 519 E. Harvard Rd., Burbank. Groves was shot as he walked along Scott road with daughter, Sandra, 15." Mr. Groves was shot and killed by a boy playing with a weapon. The boy thought that the firearm was unloaded.
