Description
Spectators and participants in Corning's Bicentennial celebration, some of them in period costume, watched the festivities near the touring Conestoga wagon outside the Corning City Hall. It was the highlight of the daylong visit by the special Centennial wagon, which is touring the U.S. and is sponsored by the Commownwealth of Pennsylvania. The wagon also took part in a Bicentennial Main Street parade in Corning. Similar activities are scheduled for today in Willows, and later in Weed and Ukiah. It will be on display this evening at the Tehama County River Park on the Sacramento River. See also SBPM00798
