On back: "re: house in front of Ferry Building. Building parked in front of Ferry Building by house moving company is a replica of the first San Francisco school which has been standing in Portsmouth Square, across from the Hall of Justice as part of Centennial observance. Structure is being given to city schools department by the Centennial Committee and was removed yesterday from Portsmouth Square for delivery to the west campus of the City College of San Francisco. It will be located there, first use to be as an exhibit and museum for public schools week coming up in April. Transfer of the replica to campus comes coincidentally with approval of a new classroom building at City College expected to cost more than $1,000,000.
