Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated March 9, 1965 partially reads, "A new clue to the mysterious disappearance of two Valley youths eight months ago in the desert of Baja California may be revealed here later today. The American Consulate here is expected to disclose the contents of a log kept by Steven Bunch, 18, and Harold Dean Slaght, 19, during their trip which began last June 21. The log was found inside the youths' truck which was located last week in the desolate Sierra Vizcaino desert, about 400 miles south of Tijuana." Photograph caption reads, "Where truck found - Arrow shows where truck which carried two Valley youths to Baja California was found, eight months after they vanished.
