In the foreground the end of a flat bed train car holds huge sugar pine logs, bound for the Mills; on the right side of the flat bed car stands a man with his arms held behind him in trousers with suspenders, a white shirt and hat; on the car in front of this first car a man stands on the top of a log piled on top of others; behind him three men stand or lean against this top log as the train winds to the left; behind the men see a grove of trees; in front of the flat bed car see the tracks of the train.
