Photograph caption dated June 23, 1963 reads "Three 11-year-old boys from San Jose Street School in Mission Hills show the instruments they play as members of their own marching band. The youngsters formed the group three weeks ago to provide musical entertainment for the A6-B6 baseball game. The boys, all members of the school orchestra, are, from left, Matthew Garbutt, bandleader and tuba player; Bruce Petrie, drummer, and Bruce Claspil, trumpeter."
